San Elijo Hills Odyssey of the Mind Team Advances to World Finals
Bookmark and Share

We’re so happy to share that a local team of fifth graders recently won the Odyssey of the Mind state championship! Odyssey of the Mind is an international program that encourages creative problem solving for students from kindergarten through college. Teams work together creatively to solve problems from building mechanical devices to presentations of literary classics. Thousands of teams across the United States and twenty five countries participate in this annual competition.

The San Elijo Hills Development Company is helping to raise funds for our local team as they prepare to travel to the World Finals at Michigan State University! These students have worked so hard to get here, and travel and participation expenses have resulted in a large unbudgeted expense for their families.

The San Elijo Hills Development Company will match all monies donated up to $2,000! When you have a moment this week, please visit the San Elijo Hills team’s campaign page at http://www.gofundme.com/qqf5bg. Even a small contribution adds up quickly, and you also have the opportunity to double your support!
